Boom Beach on PC
Hi,
I saw a PC-emulation and thought I've to share it with you. Someone asked if there is a chance for multiple accounts.
Basically you can play on a pc or have a second account.
Find the full guide here (German) http://www.giga.de/apps/boom-beach/tipps/boom-beach-pc-spielen-online-unter-windows/
Translated the steps you have to do:
1. Download the tool "Andy" (For the link follow my guid above)
2. Install "Andy" on your pc
3. Run "Andy" and log in with your google-account. "Andy" simulate to be an android tablet.
4. Open the play store
5. Search for any app, f.e. Boom Beach and install it.
6. Run Boom Beach and log in.
7. You can now continue building & fighting or rise a second base.
note:
-I havent tested it yet, just sharing
-"Andy" can run diffrent apps
-There are other tools than "Andy", f.e. "Bluestacks"
greets
/ska

I use BlueStacks App Player, which is basically a android phone/tablet on the PC. Works like a charm!

Re: Boom Beach on PC
If many members start a 2nd account, we could give the sister force idea a second go maybe ...
If stronger player want to join, we could then export our weaker account to the sister force. If we happen to be short of players, we could transfer back some 2nd accounts ...
but in a 2nd force i would not put so much work into like attack attendance, tactical documents and stuff.. We could just open a separate forum for them here.

Re: Boom Beach on PC
sister force is a german word 1:1 translated to english, the correct word would be subsidiaryAdmin wrote:the sister force
I dont know how many people are interested to start a 2nd account. Anyways its much work to organise such a thing with another tf.

Re: Boom Beach on PC
thanks
depends how much work you want to put in it. if it were down to me to set it up, i would just have a loose force without forum, excel sheets and big tactics discussion and advertising..l just picking an op and go for it.

... regarding the subsidiary as some sort of parking your 2nd accounts.. the fun is this tf, no doubt
but just loudly thinking, not saying we desperatel need one

Re: Boom Beach on PC
Tried both of these today. Andy was very very laggy (beyond use) and bluestack is now a permenant fixture on my PC.

Re: Boom Beach on PC
I set up a new Account "BoomBernd" since I only sporadically have my wifes ipad (with Julian Finn Account).
Will take some time to bring this account up but in case we run out of members I could later then transfer this account, too.

Re: Boom Beach on PC
just wanted to leave a note here ...
Bluestacks and Andy both are not running well on my Mac (Yosemite). Bluestacks does not run at all, Andy runs but I loose for some strange reason connectivity at some point. So with my BoomBernd-Account it looked like I never will be able to join our TF because if you loose connect in the middle of an attack, thats not funny.
But now I tried Droid4X and it is perfect. I dont loose control and even the zooming works perfectly well
cheers,
Bernd

Bernd, What mac are you running Yosemite and DroidX on?
I downloaded it, but upon install tells me I need to upgrade my graphics controller, then crashes. I'm running Yosemite on a macbook pro, but its from 2008. Granted, my internet was acting up, so the download stalled about a dozen times, may have corrupted something.
Was really hoping to have the option to Boom on my laptop. I'm often limited to the small screen of iPhone 4s, sometimes an iPad mini.

Re: Boom Beach on PC
What is up with the cat image background on the quote?
Anyway. It's interesting what works for some ppl and devices and what works for others.
Droid4X did't work for me. Uninstalled and deleted all of it, started over, download went smooth this time, but the app still crashes on boot-up. Tried Bluestack, got a little farther, but it stalls or crashes on me when trying to access Google Play store.
So I tried Andy, and what do you know, it installed, loaded, and allowed me to download Boom Beach from Google Play. The set-up steps were REEEEEEAAAALY slow, but once it was finished, seems to work for me. Was able to start a new alt account and played a few minutes of Boom with no trouble. Going to test it out a while before possibly attempting to run MajorMeesh account on it. Will keep you posted.
Moral of the story, if the first couple emulators don't work for you, keep trying other options, you might find one that fits your system and works.
Edit: Been using Andy for almost a week now with new alt account. Had a couple freezes in the first 2 days, but there seemed to be some sort of update after the first day or so, there is a new green wallpaper on the "Android" lock screen and main screen. Since that happened I've had no further issues. Today I activated another google +/play account on the emulated device and am able to successfully switch back and forth between the new Meesh.Jr account and MajorMeesh. Even did a few simple Dr T and npc attacks with no trouble.
