Officer Status

Bernd I was wondering what I could do to earn officer status. Awaiting your reply

Hi, at least half of the TF wants to be officer and I can understand that. I'd normally discuss things like this per pm but maybe it is a good thing, anyone can read this. You are the 4th who asked for officer status.

officers can do a lot of things like start an op (maybe the wrong one!), kick people, accept people (maybe the wrong one) and use and abuse intel. If you check the TFs out there most of them have 10 officers many have less then that.

For the structure of this TF I believe we should stick to 10 officers. Just imagine we had 30 officers, that would not make much sense but increase the probability that something bad happens like kicking people without reason (already happended, Destroyer it was) or wasting intel (Destroyer, again.)

I hereby do see, you are interested being officer and as soon as the officers elect a new one, you will be regarded among other, promise!

What should an officer do:
* he should provide a decent amount of intel, doesnt have to be top 10 though
* attack daily and tell us, if he cannot make it for whatever reason
* he should daily login to this forum and actively discuss stuff with us here
* he should watch members attacks and speak to them if something does not work out or they retreat and stuff
* he should be around in the chat once a day
* he should answer questions of members when he sees any
* he should introduce new members to our policy
* he can provide tactical hints on ops by posting in the ops nodes.
* he can advertise this TF in wikis and forums

By the way, if people leave this TF because they badly want to be officer or build their own TF .. I would not like it but I could understand that, too. I was a successful member of beerboximus operation at some 4 levels higher than this TF. I was officer as well but then decided to try to build something my own.

In the end it is a game and you guys are free to decide for yourself.
